The artist will require a 25% deposit to be paid upon booking in order to secure the client’s chosen date and time. This date and time will be secured upon clearing of the cheque.
Please make cheques crossed and payable to Rebekah Shambrook and include the client’s name and address on reverse of cheque. Do not mail cash.
The deposit is refundable upon cancellation up to 2 weeks in advance.
Should the client decide to cancel their event for any reason (except in unforeseen circumstances which include but are not limited to: death or illness), a notice must be given to the artist at least 2 weeks in advance. It is very difficult for the artist to fill a cancelled time slot on short notice. Any monies already paid toward the event will be refunded. Cancellation between 2 weeks and 48 hours will result in loss of deposit only. Any notice later than 48 hours in advance will result in the client accepting to pay a cancellation fee of 50% (inclusive of the 25% deposit) of the total time booked unless in unforeseen circumstances.
Should the artist become ill, the 25% deposit will be refunded and every effort will be made to find a replacement.
Payment in full will be required at the beginning of the event in cash. Any overtime will be requested after the event.
The artist will arrive 15-20 minutes before the agreed start time to set up equipment.
Any time beyond the time booked will be charged at the normal rate to the nearest 15 minutes.
If venue is over 20 miles away, an additional £0.50 per mile travel cost will be incurred.
For events over four hours, the artist will require a paid 5-10 minute break every two hours.
Please ensure that there is sufficient parking for the artist to use. The client will reimburse the artist for any parking fees.
If the event is taking place outdoors the artist will provide her own shelter. This will need to be set up on level ground and is 2.7 x 2.7m. No refunds will be made for events with extreme weather (ie. High winds, rain, lightning, snow, extreme heat/cold)
